Published Friday, October 2, 2026, after final game statuses.
Hamstrings filled the Week 4 waiting room. DeVonta Smith, Caleb Williams and Terry McLaurin all landed on the report with one, and Justin Jefferson’s ankle kept him out of practice all week. Three starting quarterbacks are out, so check your superflex lineups twice.
Ruled Out
Justin Jefferson, WR, Vikings (ankle). He did not practice Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, and the Vikings ruled him out, per the team. Kevin O’Connell said Minnesota won’t bring him back until he “can go be himself.” That lines up with the plan in The MRI on Wednesday, where three straight DNPs meant start Jordan Addison and look toward a Week 7 return after the bye. Addison is a WR2 with WR1 upside against Miami’s secondary, per SI. Tai Felton is the deep-league add.
DeVonta Smith, WR, Eagles (hamstring). Three DNPs and out, per the team. He could miss two to three games, according to league sources cited by The Philadelphia Inquirer. Hollywood Brown (ankle) and Dallas Goedert (knee) are also out. Smith was drawing 32.9% of Philadelphia’s targets, per the Inquirer, and those targets go to Dontayvion Wicks first, with Makai Lemon in line for more snaps, per the team. We passed on Wicks in Tuesday’s Free Agent Triage. With Smith and Brown both out, he is a flex this week.
Jayden Daniels, QB, Commanders (elbow). Daniels practiced on a limited basis all week, but Washington ruled him out, and Marcus Mariota starts in London, per NFL.com. Running back Rachaad White (shoulder) is out too. Jacory Croskey-Merritt had 20 touches in Week 3 after White left, and Yahoo ranks him as an RB2 against a Colts run defense it has 30th in rushing EPA. Kickoff is 6:30 a.m. Pacific, so set this one Saturday night.
Caleb Williams, QB, Bears (hamstring). No practice all week, and the Bears ruled him out, per the team. Chicago has not named a starter. Reporting relayed by A to Z Sports, including ESPN’s Adam Schefter, has the team leaning toward Tyson Bagent over Case Keenum. Start neither one.
Breece Hall, RB, Jets (quad). Out after three DNPs, per the team. Braelon Allen, our No. 2 waiver add Tuesday, takes over and is an RB2 at Chicago. Mason Taylor (thumb) and Adonai Mitchell (finger) are also out.
Baker Mayfield, QB, Buccaneers (thumb). Three DNPs and out, per the team. Rookie Jalon Daniels makes his first NFL start against Green Bay. That is the reason Trade Rx listed Bucky Irving as a sell on Thursday.
Jadarian Price, RB, Seahawks (chest). Out, per the team, and Zach Charbonnet is out as well. Emanuel Wilson leads the room with a team-high 32 carries, per Yahoo, and George Holani is the pass catcher. Wilson is a flex against the Chargers.
True Questionables
Mike Evans, WR, 49ers (ribs). He missed Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday he was in uniform but stayed on the side and skipped team drills, per 49ers Webzone. Kyle Shanahan called him a game-time decision, per NBC Sports. Kickoff against Denver is 1:25 p.m. Pacific, so you can pivot. Call: Start him as a WR3 only if he is active and you have a late-window backup on your bench. If you can’t check inactives around 11:55 a.m. Pacific, sit him.
Ladd McConkey, WR, Chargers (foot). Limited Wednesday, no practice Thursday, back on the field Friday. Yahoo Sports expects him to play with a limited workload. Brenen Thompson and tight end Charlie Kolar are both out, so the targets that remain have fewer places to go. Kickoff at Seattle is 1:25 p.m. Pacific. Call: Start as a WR3 if active, with Quentin Johnston as the same-game pivot.
Terry McLaurin, WR, Commanders (hamstring). A new injury. He was limited Friday, and DraftSharks reports he likely hurt the hamstring in that practice, two days before kickoff. London means a 6:30 a.m. Pacific start and no late pivot. Call: Sit. Stefon Diggs becomes Mariota’s first read.
Keenan Allen, WR, Colts (groin). Limited Thursday, no practice Friday, per RotoWire, which is the wrong direction. Same London kickoff. Call: Sit, and start Josh Downs, a buy in this week’s Trade Rx. Tyler Warren also gains targets if Allen can’t go.
Jalen Coker, WR, Panthers (quad). He missed Wednesday and was limited by Friday, when he worked into some team periods. Dave Canales said, “We’re going to have to see tomorrow,” per SI. Xavier Legette is out. Coker plays Sunday night, so a pivot is easy. Call: Bench him unless you’re desperate, and if you start him, keep a Monday night receiver on your bench.
Zay Flowers, WR, Ravens (hamstring). Limited Wednesday, full Thursday, limited Friday on what the Ravens’ site described as a rest day. He is listed questionable. Trade Rx called him the most time-sensitive buy on the board, and this practice trail doesn’t change that. Call: Start.
Tyjae Spears, RB, Titans (ankle). DNP Wednesday, limited Thursday, full Friday, and still listed questionable, per Russell Street Report. Tony Pollard is off the report. Call: Sit Spears outside of deep leagues.
Cleared for Sunday
Puka Nacua has no designation after two limited practices, per CBS Sports. Sean McVay said his snaps will depend on “the overall conditioning,” so treat him as a WR2 with a snap cap. Nico Collins went from limited to full and is off the report for his first game since Week 1, per SI. D’Andre Swift returned to a full practice Friday with no designation, per Athlon. Bucky Irving and Chris Godwin Jr. both practiced fully Friday, per the Buccaneers.
Lamar Jackson, Tony Pollard, DJ Moore, Tyrone Tracy Jr., Jakobi Meyers, Keaton Mitchell and Chig Okonkwo are all off the report. Jaylen Wright is available for Miami, per the Vikings’ report. Patrick Mahomes, Rashee Rice and Ashton Jeanty practiced fully all week. Falcons-Saints plays Monday night, and their final statuses come out Saturday.
