Lineup Rx · Week 8 · 2026

Thirteen games are on the board: 12 on Sunday and Bears at Seahawks on Monday night. Houston, New Orleans, the Giants and San Francisco are on bye, per the CBS Sports schedule, and Green Bay beat Carolina 27-19 on Thursday. Every call below is for 12-team half-PPR leagues, with a note where full PPR changes the answer. Lines are the Fox Sports numbers at bet365 as of October 30, and other books sit a point or so away. Injury designations come from Friday’s final team reports, linked in each row, plus Saturday news where a row says so. Kickoffs are listed in Pacific time first, with Eastern in parentheses.

Two caveats. The Seahawks and Bears had not posted Saturday game designations when I checked, so Monday night is a wait-and-see slot. And A.J. Brown’s status changed Saturday afternoon, covered below. Our Friday Rounds has the full practice-report breakdown. Pickups to cover holes are in Free Agent Triage, and the buy-low and sell-high moves are in Trade Rx.

This week’s prescriptions

The four calls I’d make first

Start of the weekDak Prescott, DAL

NFL.com’s start of the week: Prescott scored 23.38 points on Monday night, and Arizona has allowed more than 16 fantasy points to six straight starters and the most passing touchdowns in the league (17).

Sit of the weekJared Goff, DET

Minnesota allows 7.58 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks and has the league’s highest pressure rate (48.8%). Stream another quarterback if you can.

StreamerKirk Cousins, LV

Cousins leads the NFL with 16 passing touchdowns and has topped 18.5 fantasy points in five of his last six games. The Jets are 1.5-point favorites at home.

Late-game hedgeJaylen Waddle, DEN

Waddle is questionable with a chest injury for a 1:25 PM PT kickoff. Inactives post at 11:55 AM PT, so keep a later or flexible slot open.

Injury watch

Final Friday statuses, plus Saturday news where noted. Full list on the FFD Injury Report.

Ravens at Bills

Sunday, 10:00 AM PT (1:00 PM ET) · BUF -3.5 · O/U 54.5

The diagnosis: This is tied for the highest total on the board, and both quarterbacks get a soft pass defense. Lamar Jackson practiced in full and returns after three missed games. Buffalo’s pass defense ranks 31st in the NFL, and 30th in both opponent EPA per play and success rate. Josh Allen has thrown for at least 200 yards in every game this season against a Ravens defense that allows 220.9 passing yards per game. Books disagree slightly on the total, with Covers showing 53.5. DJ Moore and Dalton Kincaid are the weak spots. Both are questionable after limited practices all week, and this is an early game with no late look to save you.

  • StartJosh Allen, Lamar Jackson
  • BorderlineYour other Ravens and Bills starters are set. The only open question is the Bills’ pass catchers below.
  • SitDJ Moore, Dalton Kincaid (unless you have no other option and see them active at 8:30 AM PT)

Titans at Bengals

Sunday, 10:00 AM PT (1:00 PM ET) · CIN -12.5 · O/U 46.5

The diagnosis: Cincinnati is a 12.5-point favorite, and Tennessee has lost its top two skill players. Tate and Spears are both out. Chase Brown is NFL.com’s start of the week at running back: he has at least 15 touches every game, and the Titans have allowed 4.9 yards per carry to running backs since Week 5. He has also shared work. In Week 7 he had 11 carries for 39 yards and four catches on five targets, so his floor depends on the passing game. Joe Burrow is completing 71.7% of his passes with 1,653 yards and 15 touchdowns. On the Tennessee side, Calvin Ridley is questionable after going limited, limited, full, and Wan’Dale Robinson, Ridley and Elic Ayomanor are set to absorb Tate’s volume.

  • StartJoe Burrow, Chase Brown, Ja’Marr Chase (full practice Thursday and Friday, no designation)
  • BorderlineCalvin Ridley (WR3 if active), Wan’Dale Robinson (PPR flex), Tony Pollard (RB2 with Spears out)
  • SitCam Ward in one-QB leagues (a 12.5-point underdog without Tate)

Cardinals at Cowboys

Sunday, 10:00 AM PT (1:00 PM ET) · DAL -6.5 · O/U 54.5

The diagnosis: Neither defense can stop anyone. Both rank in the bottom four in opponent EPA per play and opponent yards per play, and DraftKings had Dallas at -6 where Fox shows -6.5. Prescott is NFL.com’s top quarterback play (see the card above), and CeeDee Lamb has 651 receiving yards and six touchdowns, second in the league in both. Trey McBride leads the league with 59 receptions and ranks second with 78 targets. Jeremiyah Love returns from a two-game absence with no designation, and Dallas has allowed the fifth-most rushing yards and fourth-most fantasy points to running backs. At quarterback, NFL.com lists Jacoby Brissett, and Carson Beck also appears on Arizona’s report without a designation, so confirm who starts. Michael Wilson caught four of eight targets for 55 yards last week and was limited all week with a rib injury.

  • StartDak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Trey McBride, Jeremiyah Love (RB2)
  • BorderlineGeorge Pickens (WR3, expected to play), Jacoby Brissett (streamer), Tyler Allgeier (flex)
  • SitMichael Wilson

Vikings at Lions

Sunday, 10:00 AM PT (1:00 PM ET) · DET -3.5 · O/U 45.5

The diagnosis: Minnesota’s defense is the story. The Vikings rank first in EPA per play allowed, and their offense ranks 30th. That puts Goff in NFL.com’s sit spot, and NFL.com’s WR column says to sit Jameson Williams because Minnesota allows 19.3 fantasy points per game to receivers. The Lions’ stars still play. Jahmyr Gibbs has 620 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on 134 carries and at least 27 touches in four of six games, and Amon-Ra St. Brown has 46 catches on 68 targets. Both returned to full practice after missing Wednesday and carry no game designation. Detroit’s defense is the weak side. The Lions allow 25.63 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, which makes Kyler Murray a start, and Justin Jefferson has 85 catches and nearly 1,300 yards in 12 career games against Detroit. Aaron Jones is back with no designation, but he and Jordan Mason are sharing the backfield.

  • StartJustin Jefferson, Jahmyr Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Kyler Murray
  • BorderlineAaron Jones (flex in a committee), Jordan Mason (deep flex)
  • SitJared Goff, Jameson Williams

Colts at Jaguars

Sunday, 10:00 AM PT (1:00 PM ET) · JAX -10.5 · O/U 46.5

The diagnosis: Jacksonville is the second-biggest favorite of the week, and ESPN’s line was JAX -10. Trevor Lawrence has a league-high 7.6% touchdown rate and passed for 331 yards against the Eagles and 306 against the Texans. NFL.com’s WR column picks Parker Washington, who has double-digit fantasy points in five of six games, and its RB column picks Bhayshul Tuten, the RB17 in points per game. Jakobi Meyers is questionable after missing Friday’s practice, so he is a sit. On the Colts side, Daniel Jones completes 59.6% of his passes at 5.8 yards per attempt, and Sharp calls him no more than a back-end QB2. Tyler Warren is off the report, and Anthony Gould is out.

  • StartTrevor Lawrence, Bhayshul Tuten, Parker Washington, Tyler Warren
  • BorderlineJonathan Taylor (RB2, trailing script)
  • SitDaniel Jones, Jakobi Meyers

Raiders at Jets

Sunday, 10:00 AM PT (1:00 PM ET) · NYJ -1.5 · O/U 45.5

The diagnosis: Both pass defenses are bad. Las Vegas allows 11 receiving touchdowns, the most in the league, and double-digit fantasy points to six wideouts in its last three games, which is why NFL.com makes Garrett Wilson its WR start of the week. Rookie Omar Cooper Jr. has caught 11 of 12 targets over two games with at least 22 fantasy points in each, so he is a start too. Cousins is on the card above, and Tre Tucker has 10 catches for 200 yards and three touchdowns on 19 targets with Cousins over two weeks. Brock Bowers has five straight games with 70-plus receiving yards and no designation. In the Jets’ backfield, Breece Hall is questionable after three limited practices. Braelon Allen rushed 17 times for 104 yards last week and carries no designation. Geno Smith faces a defense that gives up 7.7 yards per pass attempt (28th). Books differ on the total here: SI/DraftKings had 44.5.

  • StartKirk Cousins, Garrett Wilson, Brock Bowers, Braelon Allen, Omar Cooper Jr.
  • BorderlineGeno Smith (streamer), Tre Tucker (WR3)
  • SitBreece Hall (a bonus if he is active, but do not build around him)

Browns at Steelers

Sunday, 10:00 AM PT (1:00 PM ET) · PIT -3.5 · O/U 39.5

The diagnosis: This is the lowest total of the week. Pittsburgh’s pass defense allows 11.2 passing points per game (fourth) and a 2.9% touchdown rate (fourth), and Cleveland’s ranks third in pass success rate. That is why NFL.com puts Deshaun Watson in its sit column: his big game against Tennessee depended on a rushing touchdown, and he has two passing touchdowns over four weeks. Aaron Rodgers faces the most man coverage in the league (40.4%), and he threw for 299 yards and three touchdowns in the first meeting. The cleaner play is on the ground. Quinshon Judkins scored a season-high 23.4 fantasy points on 18 touches against Tennessee. Darnell Washington has a touchdown reception in consecutive games. Ben Skowronek is questionable with a calf injury after limited practices all week.

  • StartQuinshon Judkins, Jaylen Warren
  • BorderlineAaron Rodgers (streamer range), Darnell Washington (TE streamer)
  • SitDeshaun Watson (one-QB leagues), Ben Skowronek

Falcons at Buccaneers

Sunday, 10:00 AM PT (1:00 PM ET) · TB -2.5 · O/U 44.5

The diagnosis: The spread is solid across books, but the total is not. FanDuel had 43.5 and DraftKings had 46.5. Egbuka is out with a foot injury. Chris Godwin Jr. is not hurt. He is on a rest designation with no game status, and PlayerProfiler says he commanded a 45% target share last week with Egbuka out. Bucky Irving has at least 21 touches in three straight games, though Atlanta’s run defense ranks fourth in EPA per rush. Baker Mayfield has finished QB22 or lower in all four of his games, and Sharp calls Michael Penix Jr. a QB2 in this matchup despite three touchdowns in each of his last two games. Brian Robinson Jr. is out, but Bijan Robinson’s workload did not meaningfully increase when he missed last week.

  • StartBucky Irving, Bijan Robinson
  • BorderlineChris Godwin Jr. (WR2/3), Michael Penix Jr. and Baker Mayfield (both QB2 range), Kenny Gainwell (flex if active)
  • SitTed Hurst III

Chargers at Rams

Sunday, 1:05 PM PT (4:05 PM ET) · LAR -6.5 · O/U 44.5

The diagnosis: The Chargers are 0-6 and score 15.0 points per game, 32nd in the league, while the Rams are first in total yards per game (399.1). Justin Herbert has 1,141 passing yards, 5 touchdowns and 8 interceptions, and Los Angeles allows 3.5 sacks per game, 31st. Omarion Hampton is NFL.com’s notable sit after fewer than eight fantasy points in three of his last four games. The Rams backfield has two live pieces. NFL.com recommends Blake Corum after 37 touches, 233 yards and three touchdowns over three weeks, and Kyren Williams had 53 touches over the same stretch. Puka Nacua appears on the Rams report only for a Friday rest day, with no designation, and has 45 catches for 485 yards in five games. Ladd McConkey is off the injury report and plays, though the Chargers’ offense ranks last in EPA per play.

  • StartMatthew Stafford, Puka Nacua, Kyren Williams, Blake Corum
  • BorderlineLadd McConkey (WR3)
  • SitOmarion Hampton, Justin Herbert (one-QB leagues)

Chiefs at Broncos

Sunday, 1:25 PM PT (4:25 PM ET) · KC -1.5 · O/U 40.5

The diagnosis: This is a low-scoring game between two good defenses. Patrick Mahomes is in NFL.com’s sit column for the third straight week: he has zero touchdowns and two interceptions since Week 6, and Denver has seven interceptions and eight touchdowns allowed in seven games. Bo Nix was pressured on 51.5% of his dropbacks, and Kansas City allows 10.9 passing points per game, third in the league. The ground game is where this one gets decided. Kenneth Walker III has 701 rushing yards and six touchdowns, and Denver allows 133.3 rushing yards per game. Rashee Rice is off the injury report after limited, limited, full practices and plays his first game since Week 4. With RJ Harvey out, Jonah Coleman led the team in carries in his return from injured reserve, while J.K. Dobbins played 21.4% of snaps and had 23 yards on six carries. Courtland Sutton has not reached double-digit fantasy points all season.

  • StartKenneth Walker III, Jonah Coleman
  • BorderlineRashee Rice (WR3 in his first game back), Jaylen Waddle (start only if active), Travis Kelce
  • SitPatrick Mahomes and Bo Nix (one-QB leagues), J.K. Dobbins, Courtland Sutton, Xavier Worthy

Patriots at Dolphins

Sunday, 1:25 PM PT (4:25 PM ET) · NE -6.5 · O/U 43.5

The diagnosis: This line is the least settled on the board. DraftKings had New England -7.5 with a 44.5 total, and I found no source that matches Fox’s 6.5 and 43.5 beyond Fox itself. The bigger news is that A.J. Brown and TreVeyon Henderson are both out, per TSN, which says the team announced it Saturday. Drake Maye still has a soft matchup. Miami is 31st in passing points allowed per attempt, and 33.5% of New England’s pass plays gain 10 or more yards, the league’s highest rate. On the ground, NFL.com expected Rhamondre Stevenson and Corey Kiner to handle the carries even before Henderson’s illness. For Miami, Malik Willis closed Week 7 as the QB4 with 26 points, but he has thrown for 5.1 yards per attempt under pressure.

  • StartDrake Maye, Rhamondre Stevenson
  • BorderlineMalik Willis (QB2 streamer), Corey Kiner (deep flex)
  • SitA.J. Brown and TreVeyon Henderson (both out per TSN)

Eagles at Commanders (Sunday Night Football)

Sunday, 5:20 PM PT (8:20 PM ET) · WAS -5.5 · O/U 40.5

The diagnosis: Philadelphia’s passing game is in bad shape. DeVonta Smith, Dontayvion Wicks and Britain Covey are all out, and Tanner McKee starts with Hurts on injured reserve. The Eagles are 1-6 against the spread and average 17.7 points per game. Saquon Barkley has no designation after DNP, DNP, limited, and the Commanders’ defense ranks 25th in yards allowed. Expect the Eagles to manage his workload. Washington’s offense is healthier. Jayden Daniels was a full participant all week with no designation, and Stefon Diggs has at least four catches and six targets in every game with Terry McLaurin out for the season. Treylon Burks is questionable with a foot injury.

  • StartJayden Daniels, Stefon Diggs (WR2), Saquon Barkley
  • BorderlineDallas Goedert (TE streamer, no designation), Treylon Burks (deep flex, questionable)
  • SitTanner McKee (one-QB leagues), Eagles receivers Makai Lemon, Darius Cooper, Elijah Moore and Hollywood Brown

Bears at Seahawks (Monday Night Football)

Monday, 5:15 PM PT (8:15 PM ET) · SEA -3.5 · O/U 46.5

The diagnosis: Seattle’s defense is the best unit on this slate. It ranks No. 2 in EPA per play and No. 1 in opponent yards per play, and NFL.com makes Rome Odunze its WR sit of the week because Seattle allows the fewest fantasy points to receivers. Darnold is also a sit. He has thrown eight interceptions, and Chicago has forced 10 turnovers. Kyle Monangai was ruled out Saturday, which leaves D’Andre Swift with most of Chicago’s backfield work. Jaxon Smith-Njigba has 867 yards and eight touchdowns through seven weeks. The Seattle backfield is unresolved. Jadarian Price logged a full Friday practice, his first since injured reserve, and Zach Charbonnet’s Monday status is unclear. Mike Macdonald has said both could play. Final Saturday designations for Seattle and Chicago were not posted when I checked, so check the FFD Injury Report before you set this slot.

  • StartJaxon Smith-Njigba, D’Andre Swift (RB2 on volume)
  • BorderlineCaleb Williams (QB2 range against Seattle), Colston Loveland (TE streamer, new neck designation Friday), Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price (wait for the final report)
  • SitRome Odunze, Sam Darnold

Before you lock your lineup: Inactives come out 90 minutes before each kickoff. That is 8:30 AM PT (11:30 AM ET) for the 1:00 PM ET games, 11:35 AM PT (2:35 PM ET) for Chargers-Rams, 11:55 AM PT (2:55 PM ET) for the 4:25 PM ET games, 3:50 PM PT (6:50 PM ET) for Sunday night and 3:45 PM PT (6:45 PM ET) for Monday night. If you are starting Waddle or anyone else questionable, keep a backup in a later slot so you can still swap.

About Lineup Rx: FFD posts start/sit calls for every Sunday and Monday game each Saturday at noon Pacific, after the final Friday injury designations. For live statuses, check the FFD Injury Report.
