Braelon Allen set a career high in Week 5, and Jaylen Warren and Bucky Irving had their best lines of the season. Those prices are worth cashing in. Trade Rx reads this week’s buy-low and sell-high columns from FantasyPros, Fantasy Six Pack, TWSN and PFF, checks each name against usage and the injury report, and picks five buys and five sells.
Calls are built for half-PPR, with notes where PPR changes the answer. Each player gets a suggested trade price, which is a starting point for an offer, not a rule. Cincinnati, Detroit, Miami and Minnesota are on bye. None of this week’s ten play tonight. Zach Charbonnet is out again and Jadarian Price is on injured reserve until at least Week 8, per The Fantasy Footballers, so Emanuel Wilson, last week’s sell, keeps Seattle’s job a while longer. Deals for Seattle or Denver players have to close before 5:15 p.m. Pacific.
Buy Low
1. Emeka Egbuka, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Week 6: vs. PIT | Price: Omarion Hampton or Tony Pollard plus a small add
Symptoms: Egbuka caught six of nine targets for 38 yards in the 24-16 win at Dallas, according to FantasyPros. His only score came on a 14-yard jet sweep.
Diagnosis: He led Tampa Bay in targets again. TWSN has him leading the team in targets and receiving yards for the season, with 21 catches for 192 yards. FantasyPros’ Wolf Trelles-Heard puts his first-read target share at 26.9% and notes double-digit PPR points in four of five games. Baker Mayfield did not practice Wednesday with his dislocated thumb, per NBC Sports, so rookie Jalon Daniels should start again.
Consensus check: Backed by FantasyPros and TWSN.
Prescription: Trelles-Heard suggests Hampton or Pollard with a small plus. Hampton’s snap share has fallen three straight weeks, per FantasyPros’ Jim Moorman, so he’s the piece to move. Egbuka gains more in PPR.
2. Rome Odunze, WR, Chicago Bears
Week 6: at ATL | Price: a depth receiver such as Devaughn Vele or Denzel Boston
Symptoms: Odunze caught three of nine targets for 40 yards and lost a fumble in the 31-7 loss at Green Bay, according to The Fantasy Footballers.
Diagnosis: Odunze led all Bears pass catchers with 68 snaps, per Fantasy Six Pack. Moorman has his targets rising from six to seven to nine over three games. Caleb Williams practiced in full Wednesday, according to NBC Sports, and Ian Rapoport reported that all signs point to a Week 6 return. Ben Johnson would not confirm him as the starter on Monday.
Consensus check: Backed. Fantasy Six Pack and FantasyPros’ Adam Dove say buy. Moorman says hold until Williams returns.
Prescription: Dove suggests Vele or Boston. Make the offer before Chicago confirms Williams.
3. Matthew Golden, WR, Green Bay Packers
Week 6: vs. DAL (Sunday night) | Price: a WR3, RB3 or flex piece
Symptoms: Christian Watson has six touchdowns, second in the league behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba, according to SI. Golden has two, and Watson gets the attention.
Diagnosis: Golden caught six of seven targets for a career-high 123 yards against Chicago, per FantasyPros, and has topped 90 yards in three of five games. Moorman says he leads Green Bay in target share and doesn’t expect Watson’s touchdown rate to hold. Dallas is the No. 1 defense in this week’s Defensive Diagnosis, where we named Golden as a starter.
Consensus check: Backed. Moorman and FantasyPros’ Lawrence Iacona list him, and Iacona calls him his favorite buy-low. Fantasy Six Pack offers him as the cheaper alternative to Watson.
Prescription: Iacona’s price of a WR3, RB3 or flex piece is fair now and won’t be after a big game against the Cowboys, so buy before Sunday night.
4. Cam Skattebo, RB, New York Giants
Week 6: vs. NO | Price: Breece Hall
Symptoms: Skattebo ran 13 times for 59 yards in the 27-27 tie with Washington and lost a fumble in overtime at the Commanders’ 24-yard line, according to The Fantasy Footballers.
Diagnosis: Fantasy Six Pack notes he has missed double-digit fantasy points in three of his last four games, but his touch volume has stayed high. He has 55 or more rushing yards in four of five games, per FantasyPros. New Orleans has allowed 744 rushing yards, second-most in the league, which is why the Saints made our Defensive Diagnosis.
Consensus check: Thin. Fantasy Six Pack is the only column we read that lists him as a buy.
Prescription: Moorman suggests selling Hall for Skattebo. Hall is week to week with a quad injury, so the swap gets you the back who is playing this Sunday.
5. Tee Higgins, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
Week 6: bye | Price: Jaylen Waddle or a similar WR2
Symptoms: Higgins caught two of four targets for 22 yards against Miami, season lows across the board, according to The Fantasy Footballers. He has an adductor injury that Zac Taylor called day to day, per NBC Sports.
Diagnosis: Joe Burrow threw four touchdowns in the 31-24 win over Miami, per Bengals.com. PFF says Higgins is not 100%, and the bye gives him time to heal before a good schedule. Cincinnati plays at Baltimore in Week 7.
Consensus check: Backed by PFF and FantasyPros’ Aaron St Denis.
Prescription: St Denis suggests Waddle. A manager staring at a bye week and a two-catch game is the right person to ask.
Sell High
1. Jaylen Warren, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Week 6: at TB | Target return: an established RB2, or a WR2 plus a flex piece
Symptoms: Warren ran 15 times for 101 yards and a touchdown against Indianapolis and caught six passes for 87 yards and another score, per Newsweek. Fantasy Six Pack scored it at 36.8 PPR points.
Diagnosis: He has 73 PPR points in the three games since Rico Dowdle hurt his toe, according to Fantasy Six Pack. Dowdle was limited in Wednesday’s practice, and offensive coordinator Brian Angelichio expects him back this week, per CBS Sports. Fantasy Six Pack expects a split once Dowdle returns.
Consensus check: Near-unanimous. FantasyPros’ Iacona and St Denis, Fantasy Six Pack and TWSN all say sell. St Denis calls him his top sell.
Prescription: Sell before Friday’s practice report. If Dowdle gets a full practice in, everyone in your league will know about the split.
2. Bucky Irving, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Week 6: vs. PIT | Target return: Chase Brown
Symptoms: Irving ran 21 times for 165 yards and a touchdown at Dallas, including a 72-yard run, and caught a touchdown, according to Buccaneers.com.
Diagnosis: Last week we said to start him against Dallas and shop him Friday if he produced. He did, and that call stands. Dallas has allowed the most rushing yards in the league. Draft Sharks counted Irving on one of the team’s eight inside-the-10 snaps over Weeks 1 through 4, and Sean Tucker and Kenneth Gainwell scored the short touchdowns in Week 4.
Consensus check: Split. Fantasy Six Pack says sell. FantasyPros’ Ryan Linkletter would trade for him.
Prescription: Brown is on bye and coming off a seven-point game, so his manager may take Irving. We still like Brown’s role.
3. Aaron Jones Sr., RB, Minnesota Vikings
Week 6: bye | Target return: Michael Wilson or Garrett Wilson
Symptoms: Jones ran 25 times for 113 yards and the go-ahead touchdown in the 23-13 win over New Orleans, per Vikings.com.
Diagnosis: We listed him as a sell in Week 4, and the reason hasn’t changed. Jordan Mason is expected back from injured reserve in Week 7, according to ESPN’s Kevin Seifert via NBC Sports. TWSN notes Jones is 31. FantasyPros’ Trelles-Heard counts 97 touches over four games, and that workload shrinks once Mason is back.
Consensus check: Backed. FantasyPros’ Stephen Floyd and Trelles-Heard, plus TWSN, say sell.
Prescription: Trelles-Heard suggests Michael Wilson, our buy last week. Floyd suggests Garrett Wilson. Make the deal during the bye, while his Week 5 line is the last thing anyone saw.
4. Braelon Allen, RB, New York Jets
Week 6: at NE | Target return: Omarion Hampton or Zach Charbonnet
Symptoms: Allen ran 24 times for a career-high 116 yards in the 17-12 win over Cleveland, including the 22-yard game-winning touchdown, per NewYorkJets.com.
Diagnosis: Breece Hall has missed two games with a quad injury and did not practice Wednesday, though the Jets only held a walkthrough. Aaron Glenn called Hall week to week, per NBC Sports. Moorman expects Allen to keep a role once Hall returns, but in a committee.
Consensus check: Thin. FantasyPros’ Dove is the column that lists him.
Prescription: Dove’s advice is to sell a week or so before Hall comes back. Start shopping now, and if nobody bites, try again after Sunday.
5. Kyle Pitts Sr., TE, Atlanta Falcons
Week 6: vs. CHI | Target return: Pat Freiermuth or T.J. Hockenson
Symptoms: Pitts caught five of six targets for 42 yards and his first touchdown of the season in the overtime loss to Baltimore, according to The Fantasy Footballers.
Diagnosis: He had two catches for 20 yards through three weeks, per The Fantasy Footballers, and Moorman counts 67 receiving yards through four. Michael Penix Jr. practiced in full Wednesday after his rib injury and should start, per AtlantaFalcons.com, so the quarterback situation is not the excuse.
Consensus check: Backed by FantasyPros’ Ed Birdsall and Moorman.
Prescription: Moorman suggests Freiermuth or Hockenson. Freiermuth was No. 7 in Tuesday’s Free Agent Triage, so check waivers before you trade for him.
Where the Doctor Disagrees
Chase Brown, RB, Bengals: Moorman says sell, citing under 4.0 yards per carry and Samaje Perine’s 16 touches in Week 5. We bought Brown in Week 4 and held him last week. TWSN has him at 24 catches, including 11 against Jacksonville, and FantasyPros’ Floyd puts him near 70% of the offensive snaps. Hold him through the bye, or trade Irving for him.
Jayden Daniels, QB, Commanders: Moorman says buy aggressively after 32 points against the Giants. Daniels threw for 199 yards and did most of his damage on nine runs for 103 yards and two scores, per NBC Sports Bay Area. He dislocated his left elbow on September 20, his second dislocation in 11 months, and Bleacher Report says doctors around the league see a higher risk of it happening again. In superflex, we side with Fantasy Six Pack and sell. He plays Monday night at San Francisco.

Quick Answers
Who is the best buy-low trade target for Week 6? Emeka Egbuka. He leads Tampa Bay in targets and receiving yards, and his 38-yard game in Dallas keeps the price down.
Who should I sell high in Week 6? Jaylen Warren. He has 73 PPR points in three games without Rico Dowdle, and Dowdle was back at practice Wednesday.
Should I trade for Rome Odunze before Caleb Williams returns? Yes. Williams practiced in full Wednesday, Odunze led the Bears in targets in Week 5, and his price rises once Chicago names Williams the starter.
